Good Karma Enterprises started 14 years ago as an educational training and consulting company focused on serving individuals and schools in underserved communities under the name of Urban Education Services. Founded by Dr. Tonya Featherston, a former teacher and school administrator, the organization was dedicated to helping schools become safe spaces for children and educators. Over the years Good Karma has conducted hundreds of workshops for thousands of educators across the country. The organization now has a thriving education training division that specializes in providing schools and nonprofit organizations with training in organizational culture, educator wellness, diversity-equity-inclusion, trauma informed care and restorative practices. In the past 5 years we have expanded to include a business training division that seeks to help entrepreneurs and small businesses build their capacity through business development workshops, coaching and technical assistance.
